Studio or Location Photo Shoot

Photographic Studio and Location Shoots – corporate clients

Controlled, continuous LED studio lighting and professional equipment ensure a flawless presentation – particularly suited to advertising campaigns and valuable collector automobiles. Tim Salix has experience in setting up all the lighting equipment and managing vehicle shoots, either in the studio or at outdoor locations. Due to the need for an assistant, studio or location hire and specialised lighting, the minimum booking is for a full day. As a result, sessions are most cost-effective when photographing multiple vehicles. Additionally, there are only a limited number of studios large enough to accommodate vehicles, so bookings must be made well in advance.

Location shoots with an industrial theme – such as an old warehouse, factory or carpark featuring exposed brick, concrete and steel – or settings like a shipping port, railway yard or an oil terminal with containers, cranes and heavy machinery, or night-time cityscapes – offer a compelling alternative for corporate clients seeking a more dynamic or moody and atmospheric aesthetic. For commercial photo shoots conducted in public spaces – such as on the street, parks and beaches – particularly where substantial lighting equipment is used, a filming permit from Screen Auckland is typically required. A council issued parking permit may also be necessary. These requirements make advance planning essential to ensure the shoot runs without disruption.
